Thailand’s White Temple

At first glimpse, This looks like a temple from famous online game Ragnarok. Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple. A buddhist temple located in Chiang Rai Province, Northern most part of Thailand.

This was recently built and privately owned by a Thai artist, Chalermchai Kositpipat and opened it to public in 1997.

Entrance is free for local Thai’s and 50baht for tourists.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by hundreds of tourist lining up to take a glimpse of this majestic temple.
